Our President Ross and his wife Fiona were guests of the Rotary Club of Deer Park, Washington in mid August where Ross spoke of his experience as a polio survivor.

The main message was to help Rotarians understand the long term effects of polio and the vast differences that are seen by those who suffered paralysis in less developed countries compared with those in the West like Ross himself.

In the picture, Left to Right:  Jeanna Moore, President Deer Park, Ross Harris, Fiona Harris, and Deer Park Rotarian Marty Hilton, who provided wonderful hospitality for the Harrises.  This again is another example the opportunity Rotary brings for members to share their experiences with others as we strive to make a better World for all.
