Former Youth Exchange student , Steven Vos, received a $1000 scholarship from the Rotary Club of Salmon Arm on Monday 10 July.
Steven, who spent a year in Japan on the Rotary Youth Exchange Program in 2013, is entering his 3rd year at UBCO in the fall. He plans to study medicine. In presenting the checque, Warne Lynd emphasized Steven's qualities as an Ambassador for Rotary, for Canada and for Salmon Arm, not only during his year abroad, but as he continues to work and volunteer in his community. We wish Steven all the best in his future studies.
