Rotarians turned out between April 14 and 19 to fill those beautiful hanging baskets you see around town in the summer.
The City of Salmon Arm supports Rotary by paying us to fill the baskets with soil, then plant the tender little flowers in April. They stay protected in a green house at Mayfair Farms, and are brought out around the end of May when there's little chance of frost. During the summer, of course we get an abundant display of gorgeous colour.
