The Salmon Arm Rotary Club and The Mall at Piccadilly co-hosted a Repair Cafe on January 27th down by the Library in the Piccadilly Mall. Over 40 items were appraised and repaired by the volunteers from the Shuswap Makerspace program.
We collected over $550 in repair donations from the community for our Arena indoor walking track project. In addition, over 90% of the items were repaired and kept out of our Salmon Arm landfill which benefits our local environment.
