Jane Shirley & Paige Hilland from the SAFE (Shuswap Area Family Emergenc)y Society spoke to the club on 25th March. They outlined the history and structure of the society, emphasizing the many programs that the society supports and spoke of upcoming projects, which include a longer term transition house to support those who need housing after the initial transition period.
