Kamela Cosacchi, Marketing Coordinator, and Chad Shipmaker, CEO, of Valid Manufacturing were guests at Rotary on August 23. Chad's presentation included a history of the company and a focus on three main components of the company's multi-discipline design group.
The company's 172 employees are comprised mainly of electrical, mechanical, and chemical engineers, who work on a variety of projects from concept to production. The company has recently created a large battery pack on wheels with generator back up for the film industry. Nutrient recovery from cow manure assists the dairy industry and provides fertilizer. Vehicle products such as slideouts for RV's, and digital displays for electrical vehicles are key to RV and electric car manufacturers. The company has also developed automatic tarp rollers for large chip trucks.
The innovative engineering products provided by Valid Manufacturing employees have been developed over the last 25 years. The company has grown from one plant to four buildings with over 100,000 square feet of shop space. Many of the employees are former Newnes employees.
